TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Glen Phillips, Chief Instuctor of Allen's Martial Arts Academy attended our Multicultural Day celebrations on Tuesday March 23rd of this year. Glen introduced all our children from Pre Primary to Year Seven to Martial Arts. He was very well-received by the children, who were most attentive and who thoroughly enjoyed the introductory session run by him.

As part of a whole school assembly Glen then demonstrated, with the assistance of two of our children who are students at Allen's Martial Arts Academy, some of the finer points of Martial Arts. The students involved (one in Year Two and one from Year Four) were delighted to be involved in front of their peers. For them it was very much an affirming experience, and a rewarding one for our school.

The legacy of Glen's input lives on in our school, with several taking an interest in becoming involved with his programme.

At all times Glen was most accommodating of the school's requirements. He also used a level of language suited to the children's ages and abilities.

We hope that he will be available to be involved in future celebrations in our school for Multicultural Week. He was definitely a 'hit'!
