Zen Do Kai

Dear Glen,

We would like to thank you for your martial arts expertise that you shared with our son Alec Rollnik over the last 2 years. He has thoroughly enjoyed learning Zen Do Kai with you.

When Alec started in December 2004 (as a 4 year old) he was not sure of himself and lacked a little bit of self confidence. Over the last 22 months his confidence has grown and he has developed into a happy go lucky, secure boy who is confident of his place in the world. We have no doubt that Zen Do Kai and your instruction has assisted Alec in his development.

Alec has learned to pay attention and "focus" during class and he understands the need to respect us (his parents) and his teachers. He often comments that "Sempai Glen said this" or "Sempai Glen said that". The morals you have taught him have been indispensable and we look forward to Alec's continual journey in martial arts for many years to come.

We have often sat and watched you train Alec and the other children. However, at other times we have been confortable to leave Alec in your care while we have gone off and attended to other matters during class. You clearly enjoy your work and interact with the children very well.

Once again, thank you for helping Alec with his development and assisting him gain new skills.
